THE PERFECT POO
Every once in a while everyone experiences the perfect poo. It's rare but a thing of real beauty. You sit down expecting the worst, but what you get is a smooth-sliding, windless masterpiece that breaks the water with the splashless grace of an Olympic high-diving champion. You use the toilet paper to find that it was totally unnecessary. It makes you feel that all is right in the world and that you are in perfect harmony with it.
Some day this will be you !

MUESLI BARS
This is a really healthy snack and so easy to make.

10 tbs rolled oats
6 tbs sunflower seeds
7 tbs coconut flakes
5 tbs pepitas
8 tbs sesame seeds
9 tbs chopped almonds
4 tbs chopped dried apricots or dried figs
3 tbs chopped dried dates or raisins
1/2 cup sultanas or currants
1 cup rice syrup (available at health food stores)

In a large frying pan over a medium flame, separately roast the oats, almonds, seeds and coconut flakes. Place the roasted mixture in a large bowl and mix in the dried fruit. Pour the rice syrup into the pan to heat gently, add the grain, seeds and fruit-mix to the pan and stir through thoroughly. Press the mixture firmly onto a flat baking sheet and refrigerate until cool (minimum one hour). Cut into squares and store in an airtight container.

DID YOU KNOW THAT . . .
When castor oil is applied to your abdomen, just once a week, it will help keep your bowel relaxed, lubricated and happy. When we get stressed our bowel can tighten and castor oil has the ability of counteracting the effect of stress on it. It really does keep things running smoothly and on an even keel. Castor oil is available at my clinic.
